Kimber is due to have her puppies any day. The best estimate is early next week, but she's pretty uncomfortable and is nesting, so it may be sooner. We get an x-ray when we are getting close to see how many puppies she is expecting. That way we know what to expect when she goes into labor and will know if there are any problems with puppies still inside. After today's x-ray, it looks like there will be 7 puppies! That's a pretty large litter for her breed and size, but the good news is that with that many, they will be smaller and easier for her to deliver. Boston Terriers can usually deliver naturally and Kimber has not had any problems before. She's a great mom, and she's ready for these puppies to be here!
